"Vasquez sent us here and Vasquez knows best!"
-- Agent Tex Johnson

Upon returning to the San Francisco Base from Nevada, the agents are met by Agent Marc MacGowan, an intelligence agent assigned to San Francisco for a number of years before moving to Washington DC to become a part of Avenger Johnson's agent staff.

Agent MacGowan tells the agents to get packed, because they're off to Tahiti! Colonel Vasquez was so pleased with their actions in Nevada that he's rewarding them by sending the agents on a PRIMUS-paid (working) vacation in Tahiti, where they'll work on team-building exercises as well as having time for personal pursuits.

All of the agents who traveled to Nevada will be going on the trip with the exception of Agent Doran, who has been summoned to Washington. Agent Mahan, also of the Golden Avenger's staff, will be joining the group in Tahiti.

The flight to Tahiti - aboard one of PRIMUS' supersonic luxury jets, the same often used by Colonel Glenn and Colonel Vasquez when they have to travel - is uneventful, with one exception: when Agent Miller take the helm, the aircraft drops several thousand feet very quickly before it stabilizes again, and everyone experiences a few moments of weightlessness.

Also during the flight, the pilot asks both Agent Riley and Agent Miller if they know Vehicle Specialist Martinez in Hudson City. When both answer in the negative, the pilot nods and excuses himself, without explaining further.

Agent Mahan (who, like Agent MacGowan, has that clean-cut LL Bean sort of look to him) meets the agents on the tarmac. Agent Brown's been previously acquainted with the assault agent - they've gone climbing and hang-gliding together in the past.

Regent's Hill Resort is a whirl of activity. Not only are scantily clad men and women ubiquitous, but also video photographers and their equipment. While the agents are checking, they find out why: doors open and none other than Frederick Foswell saunters out, followed by jiggily bimbos. But Freddy - that is, Foxbat - only has eyes for Agents Brown and Miller. Agent Brown brazenly offers him her hand, and Foswell kisses it while declaring her the most beautiful woman he has ever seen. Agent Kestler hides behind Agent Riley and doesn't emerge until Foxbat - followed by the cameras - departs.

From the concierge, the agents learn that Temptation Island II is currently being filmed, and Foxbat is the host of the show.

Agent Kestler goes shopping for a bathing suit sans-Agent Riley, who advises her that she should go topless and get a thong.

Agent Johnson, Agent Miller, Agent Riley and Agent Mahan go deep-sea fishing; Agent Johnson is so busy "teaching" the others that he doesn't catch anything. Agent Miller catches two fish and Agent Mahan one; Agent Riley also fails to catch anything.

Agent Brown and Agent MacGowan go parasailing.

That night, as the agents are dining with one another and Agent Johnson is explaining his theories about Cyberline and Tequila, Foxbat - in a tuxedo - approaches Agent Brown and asks her to dance. Agent Kestler hides underneath the table.

The dance is disastrous - Foxbat flings Agent Brown across the dance floor, sending her crashing into a wall! Agent Brown decides that perhaps dancing isn't a great idea, and excuses herself. Foxbat then notices….Agent Miller.

Agent MacGowan tells the others to meet him on the beach the next morning, wearing comfortable clothing and leaves. Agent Kestler heads off to the bar, where Agent Johnson finds her drinking un-doctored Long Island Iced Teas. Needless to say, that assault agent didn't make it up at 5 AM with Agents Johnson and Mahan for a brisk workout. While working out, Agent Johnson asks Agent Mahan what he knows about Agent Brown: he gives her the ultimate compliment (from an assault agent): "She would have made a great assault agent."

Agent Miller opens her hotel room door the next morning to find a beautiful arrangement of lilies outside of it, with a card marked "Love, F.F." She leaves it outside.

On the beach, the assault agents take turns engaging in combat (individually) with the intelligence agents (working together). Agent Riley flies a Spiderman kite, trying to see how high he can get it to go; Agent Kestler practices gymnastic moves when it's not her turn to be swung at.

That afternoon, Agent Brown takes a look at the recent criminal activities in Tahiti - there have been a series of bank and jewelry store robberies of late.

The band playing in the hotel's lounge is short a pianist, and Agent Brown fills in. Agents Johnson, Kestler, Miller, Mahan, and Riley make up a portion of the audience - and so, it seems, does the supervillain Shamrock! Agent Brown positively IDs him as she walks past and remembers that she's heard he may be working with the Wild Geese. She informs the others.

Shamrock is dressed in a suit, sitting with another man in his early thirties. Agent Riley sends his Spider ("George") to eavesdrop, and catches the tail end of the conversation. "It's all set, then," he says, standing. "For 9 tomorrow night." The other man stands, and they head off to the beach.

The agents tail them down to the beach: the two split up, with Shamrock returning to the hotel, while the other man walks into the surf and then climbs into a speed boat. Agent Riley manages to toss a tracer into the boat and calls the information in to PRIMUS. The speed boat rendezvous with a larger vessel about a mile from shore.

Agent Mahan thinks he and Agent Johnson could handle Shamrock, no problem, but Johnson calls Avenger Chow -- who is obviously in bed -- and asks what to do. She tells him to keep an eye on the situation and contact UNTIL and the Tahitian authorities, as PRIMUS has zero jurisdiction (but is interested in the outcome); in the background he hears a male voice, which he recognizes as Base Commander Thurmond!

After some discussion about who should call UNTIL, Agent MacGowan does (it is their jurisdiction, after all) while Agent Brown and Riley contact PRIMUS to ID the other Irishman. They're told it's Ronan O'Neill, a lieutenant in the Wild Geese.

Back at the lounge, Agent Miller speaks with Foxbat about his plans. He's been buying up copies of all Microsoft OSes and burning them, while giving Linux developers monetary support. Shamrock sits down at the bar and drinks stouts.
